Leucistic Purple Peafowl

Our purple peafowl are hen-raised in safe, pastured pens. We feed a quality, high-protein game bird crumble, and give treats by hand daily so our chicks are used to humans. Our birds come in wild wing and blackshoulder, as well as a variety of leucistic mutations- white, pied, silver pied, white eye, and split to any of the above.

We are currently working on a breeding project for the newly-imported European Violet mutation, and hope to be able to offer the first birds from this project in 2027.

Wild Type Coturnix

We are now breeding wild type coturnix! These birds are actually wild color and wild pattern, free from the SLB mutation. They are perfect for investigating and outcrossing multi-color lines to refine them to single-color lines or find out what made that awesome color you love!

Pet-type Mice

You've probably never met a friendlier mouse than one of our little ones! These friendly ladies have been selected for years to have an outstanding temperament and will have different physical characteristics than pet store mice, including a being a larger size. We're currently only focusing on producing show-type self black mice!

Frozen Prey/Raw Diet

Longfeather Lane offers frozen feeder quail for those feeding whole prey/raw diet to their pets! All our frozen feeders are culls from our own stock, and have received the same quality of feed and care as our keeper animals, ensuring you are getting a robust, nutritious feeder for your dogs, cats, reptiles, and other animals!
