Available Birds, Chicks, and Eggs
We are dedicated to bringing you quality, hen-raised peafowl and as such, we usually only have a few birds available on any given year. Chicks become available to take home when they are roughly three months old, which is typically around Sept/October, but may be listed here early. Regardless of appearance on this page, they are not available for pickup until 3 months of age.
If you are interested in claiming a bird before the mailing list notification goes out, please contact us via email, and we can set up a paid hold. Paid holds count toward the total for the animal and guarantee you will get your chosen bird, but they are non-refundable unless something happens to the bird while it is still in our care. Otherwise all birds are cash on pickup.

- Prices on young peacocks generally range from $100-250, depending on color, pattern, sex, and quality.
- We do not typically sell peahens by themselves- hens are sold in a 1.1 pair with a male, or sometimes 1.2 trios, unless we only have hens left. When we have solo-hens available, they will be $200-300, depending on color, pattern, and quality.
- Adult peafowl of breeding age typically range from $300-500 depending on color, pattern, sex, and quality.
- All birds are local pickup by default, I do not ship through any mail service. Delivery within 8 hours (one way) of our farm may be paid for at a rate of $15/hour to pay for gas and time. This includes driving time to you and back, so a location 2 hours from us will owe $60 (4 hours), and so on. Delivery over 8 hours (one way) is available at a rate of $15/hr (gas and time) + $125 (lodging/food) per overnight needed. I have delivered as far away as Colorado, driving does not bother me.
- We can deliver multiple birds in a single trip, saving you money per bird. Our transport can move up to 8 birds in a single trip.

2026 Pre-Sale Claims
Pre-sale claims is a period of 2+ weeks before the first chicks may leave the farm. During this time, the e-mail list will be notified of available birds, and have priority claim on a given year's chicks. Claims are NOT strictly first-come, first-serve (ie, the first to contact me initially is not guaranteed anything). However, I will go through the pre-purchase process of asking and answering questions with everyone, and place the birds in the first available, suitable home, so answering queries swiftly and thoroughly is advantageous. Please be prepared to answer questions about your feed, housing, and experience with keeping peafowl (you don't necessarily need experience, I just need to know when and where to help if you are newer).
Corona's QuartetThis year Corona and Astra co-sat a nest and hatched 4 blues out of Earl x Wendy. Right now, there are 2 for-sure hens, 1 for-sure male, and one I haven't decided on yet. All 4 are the wild phenotype. The hens will be true wild types, no hets. The male(s) may be true wild types, or may be heterozygous for European Violet (freshly imported from Europe in 2023). As they all descend from Earl, who is F1 from European import stock, they should make for GREAT breeding stock, completely unrelated to almost any other bird in the USA.

Aris' Fab 5This year Aris and Lyra co-sat a nest and hatched 5 babies from Earl x Amber (Bug). These babies are currently UNSEXED. Hens will be plain blues, males will be blue het purple. I currently suspect 3 hens and 2 males, but it may be 2 hens and 3 males.
These birds MAY NOT BE PICKED UP until they have been confidently sexed AND after Sept. 1st at the earliest. If Sept 1st arrives and I am not confident in my ID, I will band them and have them DNA blood sexed. Prospective owners may respond to the mailing list notification to begin a claim. Eris' ChickThis year Eris sat on a nest by herself and hatched 2 chicks; one from Earl x Amber (Bug) that is not available for sale, and one blue hen that is. The blue hen is a true wild type out of Earl x Wendy, and is F2 from a fresh European bloodline. As such, she will make an EXCELLENT breeding prospect, unrelated to nearly all birds in the USA.

Wendy's ChickThis year, Wendy sat on a nest by herself, and hatched 2 of her own chicks: a European violet hen that passed away shortly after hatch due to a tick issue, and a blue male. The blue male may be a true wild type, or may be heterozygous for the European violet mutation. He's the most outgoing of the males, and will readily come investigate me and take treats from my hands.

Heather's SwarmThis year Heather sat on a nest of her own eggs, and hatched 5 chicks- 2 European Violet hens and 3 blues. Of the blues, there are 2 males and 1 hen. All blues will be available, and one of the EV chicks, though I haven't decided which yet.
As Heather's nest hatched much later than everyone else's, her chicks will not be available until Sept 15th. Prospective owners may respond to the mailing list notification to begin a claim. Proof of adequate housing space and type, as well as proper care knowledge, must be demonstrated up front. |

Stella/Flo's ChickStella and Fluorite decided to co-sit a nest VERY late in the season, and hatched 1 chick- a blue that is currently unsexed. Due to the late hatch, this chick will not be available for pickup until November 1st. I will be DNA sexing it soon, and claims may be made privately by contacting us.
